Got a weird bug...

When playing a sample, and going through the schematic the sample dissappears...the selector is set to the last string, which is empty.

Are you using consecutive playing? The string list ends with an empty line ( again ) and needs a fix I think.
Also the we should replace the wavefile finder thing with the one we made in your other thread.

Yes I am using consectutive I think...

And about the speed of the thing, it runs at 1,6 % CPU on a Phenom x4 920

I also want to ask...if I would go a couple of versions back would that help me get rid of these bugs...as it is annoying the hell out of me....KickLab XXL is unreleasable and I have been working for months already on this.

Are you using parts from the tapeplayer in KicklabXX?

If you want me to help fix them I can probably help.
At least do my best. But no promises. Seems to be a lot of bugs in SM now so some problems are schematic others not.
Makes it hard to know if its worth chasing right now or if one should wait until Malc has a better version out there.

Anyways. Maybe you can write me a list of the bugs your having and ways to reproduce them so I can try to fix em ?

I do not hink so...I use a modified version of Exo's sampler. Yeah, if you want you can take a look at it, provided the schematic doesn't go walkies elsewhere.

It can help.. I dont have the weird stuff going on and im using the initial version.
Ofcourse other weird stuff is happening. But not like this.
I dont know about double precision, and the way the precise ramp is coded.
I scrapped it all for the sattisfaction of diy.
Now being on the point everything yust snaps really.
The only crashes I experience are the poly ones, and the shutdown wait crash bug.
Guess it`s perfect really..hihi.

On the other hand could be a wire.

I got reminded of this one and made some small improvements.
It now uses a lot less cpu for the gui.
One disadvantage though that I havnt figured out yet.
When you drag this to the toolbox the cached backgrounds will dissapear. That is only for the preview in the toolbox.
When you drag it back out on the desktop it will look and behave as normal.
This has to do with the View Caches ( thank you mwvdlee ) used.

I've been trying to make a similar thing, for ease in making compressors/exciters. Man the stock SM filters are terrible for exciters, they're way too substantial, I need it real basic sounding.
