Good addon for singing formant based synths somewhere around ;-)

Ha ha, that is absolutely nuts! :D
The action with the mouth is amazing - so simple, yet really convincing. We have a guy at work who is deaf and is a master lip reader - maybe he can tell us what this little fellow is saying!! ;)
Feel free to use any schematics and algorithms I post on the forum in your own designs - a credit is appreciated (but not a requirement).
Don't stagnate, mutate to create. Without randomness and serendipity the earth would be just another barren rock.

i would love to do such a project, my problem is the lack of motivation when doing a project alone.

have i allready mentioned that i waste most of my SM time with prototyping things that are completely useless ;)

Yes, but it would be way cool to see him move to some music instead of just random. Like Pall said, teach him the vowels!

Using a bitmap-matrix as a animated knob would look a lot better and be easier to do (like the delay lama).
but i decided to keep the face build with SM-internal-graphics only. for a natural looking animation a few more things are needed. so if you want to keep this "project" alive (i´ll open a new thread in the project forum...but only if necessary)
then you can contribute the following GUI-modules or tips to :

good loking eyes with wimps and eyebrows
optimised mouth with teeth and tongue
main head with hair, ears and chin
nose with ultra-high-realistic 3d holes

maybe you have seen that i´ve used waves to animate the face. i think most of needed shapes are possible with that
let´s go ! :D
