Free Electro ViP (Need help design)

Postby djbrynte on Mon Jan 03, 2011 7:59 pm

I remade the whole gui. So what would be best here. Mybe white display and black text or anything like that?

Mybe not so dark group behind? Mybe make the group with the normal label for the text as says osc 1?

Give me ideas guys. And i will be sure to put up some credits for you. Will make in the display o n3rd page credits.

The synth is finished its just design and presets.

Manual and VST info. Or do i realy need a manual for free synth? Mybe some one could help me make a VST info list whats on the synth?.

I know how to make the A look cooler make it more grey so it lokos liek its from the background. And just notice this is not a rack. Its synth from top. Its rack but from top. Not the one as nexus.

The only thing that immediately does not pop out, are the near-black dials. It might look cool, but it's hard to see.
I like clean and functional user interfaces myself, but most of the world seems to prefer coolness above usability.
My current top SynthMaker bug:
    1. MIDI Input issue (showstopper, no workaround)
    2. All my previous bugs in SM1.7, because bug 1 makes SM2 worse than SM1.7

Quite like the black knobs myself - the LED dials make it clear enough where they're pointing.
The white text on the blue labels is rather hard to read though - I'd be tempted to make them a little bigger and either darken the blue or use black text.
Feel free to use any schematics and algorithms I post on the forum in your own designs - a credit is appreciated (but not a requirement).
Don't stagnate, mutate to create. Without randomness and serendipity the earth would be just another barren rock.
