I have MIDI learn knobs.
I guess it's alright to share.
I want people to get into SM, so I guess it's for the good of community.

yeah is good to share here , thats why i joined this community , trying to share any apport i can do

Also i did some midi learns utils pack here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11291 (with knobs , buttons , etc)

So dont have any problems to link midi learns, or to make new knobs with it , my main problem now is to fix some stuff into the plugin we are making ..

this are the troubles now :

1 we dont know how to make a crossfader properly .. (its in but works inversed xD )

2 dont know how to make work the BPM fader from host

3 dont know how to add a LOOP button for each sampler... (button is added for each channel , but dont know how to activate the function)


And the plugin SMC-1612 as i sayed it doesent let you to midi map your controllers ... thats the big problem ..

also the plugin we are working will be a generator , not a effect template.. but the features will be similar..

I want to make it the most closest similar to v-DJM 2ch plugin..

Well an HDD as a midi controller , thats just a awesome idea ! i was thinking it may was a joke but yep ! as i see is tottally real ..

Well , the Dj plugin im working will have all the knobs and buttons to be assignable , and all the future features we may add also gonna have midi learn support..

I want the plugin to be 100% controllable with midi controllers , all assignable ... so anyone can use they midi controllers as they like to use ..

Yep 8tc is last edit..

And support for 4 decks will be awesome , but until that , first we must have the 2 channel mixer done, i think , then maybe we can make a 4 decks version or even more , 6 decks like the new virtual Dj ...

yeah automatic mixing is possible , and i think for the first full version i will load some waves in , as predeterminated , gonna be a sample pack (30 samples or more, my own edited samples) , and of course it will be possible to mix automatic as a "Player-Looper"

yes exactly , it also have 4 decks version and 6 decks version

i think that software is just near to be perfect , the only thing i miss the VST support (as an standalone plugin)

so to load virtual dj for example , in fruity loops as a generator plugin , like does Deckadance

My idea is a VST Dj mixer Generator plugin , a plugin witch can be opened in any Studio program (FL studio , Cubase , Ablenton , Reason , etc etc)

there are a few of programs like that you saying ; virtual Dj ,Tracktor , Deckadance , Serato Scratch , and a large etc

But just Deckadance have the VST standalone option

And deckadance is good but i think will be better if is more like V-DJM 2 ch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4y7WyqGaa8

Of course,
we r limited to Windows32bit w/- SM,
but we should be able to make something cool 4 those on Windows.
Reason doesn't support 3rd party--
but they r brewing something new at Props.

several updates but still missing stuff like:

-Working crossfader

Looks great!
For most issues there are many examples in other osm files here on the forum, from wich you could use a piece.
Its hard to find sometimes, just search on osm and load a lot, maybe then you can find some answers too.
