3D rendering with synthmaker and povray

Postby jorge on Wed Feb 01, 2006 4:10 pm

Here is a schematic for creating animated bitmaps with povray:

Before using this schematic for rendering new animated bitmaps the following steps must be carried out:

1) Download Povray v3.6 from www.povray.com and install it in the default folder.

2) Create a folder with path: c:\povray to hold temporary files.

Thanks jorge!
I was going to make something like it for inkscape to make resizeable logos, but I'm trying to make a few other things first.
Need help? First search the forum & WiKi, then post in the help forum with a clear topic, request, & OSM. Then please WiKi the correct solution. If you want my personal assistance, I charge by the hour or for an exchange of services.

I think I'll put it off until SM can open webpages, or need it for other things. Sorry

Excellent stuff. However, i came to the conclusion that any track a cell phone 3D render with a background would be less than ideal; even the fruit tube has shadows.

Has anyone else experienced problems with NOD32 while trying to download Povray?

hey! that sounds very interesting, the HTTP link wasnt up just now, could you put a version of the .osm on the forum thread?

Just out of curiousity, how can synthmaker write bitmaps from a midi/stream source?

I want to write bitmaps from stream information. but i dunno what program could do that.
