Semitone: Why only +12 and not -12 too?

Hi,

i'm just wondering why the semitone-selector from the Detune only has +12 and not -12 too?!

If i would like to use -5 i must decrease the octave and use +7 or something?

no problem: build your own:

go into the Detuner,
replace the semitone selector's item string with (e.g.) "-5,-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11",
and add a float with value (-5) to the PitchOffset Input of the Detune module.

Okay i've replaced the string with:

-11,-10,-9,-8,-7,-6,-5,-4,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11

But how to add the Floatvalue -12 to the PitchOffset?

Either hook it up to the nominator of the float divide or put it outside of the module and connect it to the Pitch Offset input.

The detuner I use does´nt have a pitch offset. Is this a new addition to the newer versions of S|M or am I going blind?
How could this then be implemented in older ones without having to calculate the correct float values for -1 to -11?

The current detuner module was introduced in Release 1.0.6

1.0.6. dates back from may 2007 ! So maybe it's the time now to buy the real thing and finally throw away your SynthMakerSM which is 1.0.5 ;-)
So it's not really new anymore ...

However it seems rather easy to manually add this feature. It's just a few green calculations, just look at the schematic a few posts above, thats all you've got to add as far as I can see.
