lol.

Where abouts on the Pseudo-3D Background image do you wan the sliders and knobs?. the reason I ask is because of the different perspectives the background has.

How many sliders and knobs do you need?

just do it as you please, i don´t want to make any rules for this project because it´s more just for fun
than a serious project.

...you were faster than me,
pseudo 3d project 0.1 - faders.osm

but your faders look a lot better than mine.
great work! now that we are two people in this project we can think about what we build.
a mixer ? or perhaps a synth? here is my osm

just had a look at your osm and i saw you used animated knobs.
to reduce the filesize you can also use a bitmap knob for this one
i´ll see if i can build a nice 3d switch or something

BTW: i think you made the sliders in knobman. have you animated the slider top with the zoom function?
or does it keep its size? can´t really see any difference. but doesn´t matter, looks really nice.
okay then let´s try to make a simple mixer. i´ll add some audio stuff... :)

I made the slider in photoshop and then imported it into knobman, I did Use the zoom function but with the depth of the Interface It wouldn't shrink a very lot(only fractions but I can make it shrink even more if you like (obviously I couldn't make it too small cos it'll look silly) :)

i tried to make a simple switch and added some audio stuff.
duplicated every fader ,added stereo vca ,a simple mute switch (stereo, not per channel)
and a switch to link the left and right channel . when linked the left fader controls both.

Looking great guys! it would make a cool and novel addition to a plugin to be able to have a normal "flat view" and the ability to switch to your 3D perspective view!

I will try and contribute something to the project! got my thinking cap on :)

best regards

Very nice addition :D

Once you've got the main mixer down, I'll redraw the amount of faders we need with a better perspective to give it that ultra 3D feel.

I'll try and think of some cool addition we could have :D

wouldn't that be like 2 synths in one??

Would the eat the CPU? If not then it'd be a cool addition but we'll see what phil says ;)

great idea with the view switch! i tried something similar in my drum plugin (but this one is no pseudo 3d)

When the exe is loaded, press ALT on your PCkeyboard to switch the view

Of course a synth / mixer with 2 different GUI will be larger/more CPU hungry than one with single GUI
but i think as long as the 2 GUI´s are not active at the same time this will not be a problem. there is no reason
to double the audio stuff , too

here is a second example with my specdrum plugin. it is not hosted here because of it´s filesize.
it contains a lot of images and it is bigger than 5 MB (5MB = maximum file size for attachments here in the forum)

Same here,When the exe is loaded, press ALT on your PCkeyboard to switch the view
