AyePedro! (now for 1.7 as well)

Cheap knockoff controls based on some henceforth not-to-be-named tablet OS.

My christmas present to all you guys.

Have a cheerful christmas!
Let's hope 2011 will finally bring a worthy release of SM!

*update: Due to all the problems with SM 2.0 and since many people (including myself) have either gone back to 1.7 or didn't want to pay for 2.0 just yet (a.k.a. the "smart people")... now saved for/in/from SM 1.7. The only problem was due to an "After Duplicate" component in the standard float OnChange module. After removing that, it loaded fine in SM 1.7.
Coincidentally, the bits of code seem to work fine without recompilation. Seems the code problem may indeed be limited to those using stage().

By the way, installing 1.7 in a separate directory does seem to remove all SM2.0 modules from the 2.0 install as well (components are still there, though). Luckily there isn't really any essential new module.

My current top SynthMaker bug:
    1. MIDI Input issue (showstopper, no workaround)
    2. All my previous bugs in SM1.7, because bug 1 makes SM2 worse than SM1.7

Don't really know why I'm doing this. I don't really think I can use any of this.
Anyway; here's version 0.3, with a modal popup. Even if you don't like the visual style of it, it may be nice as a demonstration of how to do this.

Also the buttons are improved a bit; the hilighting was a bit dodgy.

I know...
... it' s because you're a good guy who likes the community which likes you because you're so generous what makes you doing it again because you're a good guy who likes... (to be continued)

However even if i don't know if i ever use one of these, the ideas behind it are brilliant as usual. Always appreciated!

hmm... enough soft-soaping for today.... ;)

Some very nice work on the draggable viewport! And the 3D text. Really creative approaches! (ie: color-to-intensity)

I didn't know it was a draggable viewport when looking at the Top level, so it had me thinking for a bit (what was so special about it?), until I realized the hovering mouse was a pointer... then... OMG! Brilliant! lol
Just to throw in another idea... how about an interactive scrollbar along the side to indicate that there's more on the view?

This draggable viewport could be great to use in plug-ins, where you can't resize the window! :D

Again, well done.

No interactive scrollbar, but you gave me the idea for something like it that the iPad has...

Also made the background for the modal dialog fade, for the heck of it.
Perhaps I should remake these into somewhat more original and actually use them.
Then again, there is _no_ version of SM that actually handles audio bugfree, so why bother.

Yeah, I don't have an iPad, iPhone, or other iDevice, so I didn't know if they had a scroll bar or not, but I guess it would make sense that they don't, considering no touch screen devices really do, do they? (That I'm aware of) But, that's a mighty cool indicator you added. Just a single click on the area, and you realize there's more to it, and that you just need to drag. Purdy sweet!

Very good and stylish work!
I'm zero, even -100 in SM graphs and GUI
Can I use it in my free osm (with quotes)? :D
For a lovely bowl let's arrange these flowers... Since there is no rice. Basho (c)(p)
