PS2 Lynxmotion Controller

hey guys,
just bought a ps3 yesterday, then i remembered that there are some new modules in SM2 for Xbox360 controller and so on...
so i attached my PS3 Controller to my laptop (via USB) and tried the PS2 Lynxmotion module. when i trigger it,
it gives me a TRUE output, so it detects my gamepad. but the knobs are not detected when i push them.
what is this PS2 Lynxmotion module for? Playstation 2 gamepads? PS2 gamepads for PC?

I think you can try jailbreaking your ps3. then you can use many games for free

2 Errors found.
1st Error: I want to control Synthmaker with a ps3 gamepad. getting games for free doesn´t help me much here.
2nd Error: When i REALLY like a PS3game,a VST Plugin,a music album or Software like Synthmaker , THEN i buy it.
this way i SUPPORT the company or artist, developer or whatever .
