Need a few more designs for my...

Postby loopeytunes on Sat Feb 18, 2012 11:45 pm

...portfolio so I'm offering 3 GUI designs for free. First come, first served basis. So if you want anything designing and can't afford the extra $$££ then now's your chance to get a whole GUI done for free so make it count!!! All I ask for is a credit in the software somewhere, i.e. GUI by Loopeytunes.... (these are my t&c's). If you want a design, i get credit.

This could range from a singled interface to a multiple one, you decide. Only thing is, is you need to have an idea on what you would like, i.e. colours, look, layout etc etc

If you already know these things then it will be a lot easier and quicker.

Take that! :D

Supersaw beta.osm
(1.19 MiB) Downloaded 195 times

Well, the general style should remain similiar, especially the background. My problem is that I can't quite change the knobs into something more effective without destroying their behaviour.
There are two things I'd like to have done:

-Detune knob should be quite large and smooth.
-Six oscillator knobs shoudl have additional ring around them, following the detune parameter of second supersaw. I'll send a manual for this one soon, that explains which is what and how it should be linked visually.
Addictive synthesis.

So you want to keep the shatter effect then?

are you better off using animated knobs, everytime i load a bitmap into the bitmap knob it distorts the image.

Oh yes, this shatter makes it feel dynamic. Also, color palette of that image is great.

As to knobs, do as you wish. I just want to keep readout knobs working.
Keep in mind that my version is limited to 75000 elements, don't go too fancy ;)

@warmonger - I'll get onto something asap then.

@corestylerz - I'll more than likely take up this offer to sell a skin for this in the near future.

@Nix - yes I'll take it up. I got to do 2 gui's first though, Warmongers and Sunsynths :D

@warmonger - You think you can change all the bitmap knobs to animated ones? as soon as this is done then I can make a start on the GUI.

Well, I don't understand the difference between bitmap and animated knob in the first place.

The bitmap knob has an animated SM line,
whereas the animated knob is a knobstrip,
which is like 51 frames or so.
101 frames is more resolution.
edit- a nice trick is 'synchronize' all the knobs-
and load one bitmap(via wireless) for all of them. Easy to change the knobs after that, & cut filesize

@Warmonger - A "bitmap knob" only allows a static image of the knob and the "animated knob" allows a png strip of a knob to be loaded (making the knobs actually turnable). I've tried loading a static knob into it but the knob image just distorts!

@Nix - I'll be intouch as soon as I can do it then and I'll say hi to him for you :D

Complete GUI's.

I already have 3 to do so if by any chance any of them decide they don't want them doing then I'll post here, but so far all that's asked is still having them made.

I wasn't here for quite some time and I see nothing has moved forward :P

Last time I checked I had no idea how to change one knob type into another, preserving its readout. If I could, I would do it myself already.
Well, will investigate further if your offer is still valid.
