Envelope control question!

Hi guys,
I have a project that uses this component very often(many envelopes), and most times I'm not even using its inputs, so I was wondering if I could just place one of this guys at the top of my schematic with an output link and then access it via links when I need it.

Would this become a problem later on?
Does it end up being more expenssive or less effective?

No, no, what I mean is to use only one and send its output to several envelopes that dont need input booleans.

I always use the gate boolean myself--
how do the envelopes even work without that option engaged I wonder?
They are like the poly signal detecting the MIDI input or something,
unless I am looking in the wrong parts of the envelope.

Yep, it should be no problem to use one 'envelope control',
I'd say it's more efficient.

Its pitch envelopes I'm working with, thats why I dont need the inputs!
I've only asked because someone might have had a bad experience by doing it and because I'm still getting my head arround building custom envelopes.
I've noticed there's no need to use links as the pitch envelopes in my schematic are all close to each other, I've used one and connected it to all my pitch env., and its working fine so far.
Although, I'm doing that for my midi to poly secction, for pitch, freq, velocity and gate, as I need them in many parts of the schematic and it would be messy to use wires everywere but I'm preatty sure other people do that.

He has re-written the stock envelope in assembly-
I'm sure he would license it u
might be some pointers in there.
I built an envelope once using interpolation,
u get stuck on the release stage though.
I used the stock SM release in 2 graphical envelopes I have modded and built from prims

Sounds like messing with envelopes is a bigger challenge than I thought, thanks for the tip Nix, I'll keep that in mind!
