SHA1 algorithm?

If your looking for security don't use SHA1. You should look at SHA2 or other encryption algorithms that don't have known vulnerabilities.

Or make educational philosophy (see Reaper for example) and valuable services around your product - for your registered customers only. Software can be cracked and probably will be - either for use or just for fun. Folks who are really interested in your product - will come to you in order to have additional support - something that can't be just "cracked" so to speak. Anyway I would go in that direction. Optionally I would make some demo app for internet, and full version sent digitally after payment (thus you have buyer details plus IP tracking - an information that you can use for marketing vs security if needed). It's just a suggestion.

I agree with your thinking.
But I'm trying to achieve this because I wanted to use the WebSocket in HTML5,
it consists of a handshake with SHA1 and BASE64.
The base64 module, I have already done in the past and now I try with SHA1.
